Budva is considered one of the oldest settlements, and also the most visited destination in Montenegro, as well as one of the most visited in the Adriatic. Cultural heritage, medieval monasteries and churches can all be visited by taking a unique walking tour through Budva’s hinterland. It is interesting that it is often compared with Dubrovnik. The oldest part is the Old Town, which was severely damaged in an earthquake in 1979, the reason why it took 8 years to reconstruct the city walls and the city. On one hand, Budva offers rich history and sights of the Old town, beautiful and authentic beaches, and on the other hand an urban way of life, and an interesting night life. Once a fishing village, now widely known and respected city leaves no one indifferent.
